HOW INSITE® INSOLES DEVELOPED A GOLF SHOE INSOLE WITH SCIENCE-DRIVEN SUPPORT

THE CHALLENGE: DESIGNING A FOOTBED THAT CAN STAND UP TO THE DEMANDS OF THE GAME
adidas wanted to design a golf shoe that would allow players to focus on their game instead of their feet. Cushion, comfort, and support were critical. adidas turned to INSITE® Insoles to provide a footbed to help deliver a locked-in feel to complement the 360Wrap upper design of their shoe.
THE SOLUTION: LEVERAGING THOUSANDS OF FOOT SCANS TO DESIGN A SCIENCE-DRIVEN INSOLE
INSITE® worked with adidas to understand their vision for the Tour360 XT golf shoe and how to integrate the right insole technology. The goal was to design an ergonomic insole that would provide the same level of cushion, comfort, and support to anyone who wears the shoe. It also had to provide stability and responsiveness for both cleated and spikeless shoe designs, making an ergonomic insole even more essential.
We leveraged data we collected from more than 120,000 foot scans to design an insole uniquely constructed to fit the design of the Tour360 XT adidas golf shoe, and meet the podiatric standards set by Footcare Express.
THE RESULT: A GOLF SHOE THAT HELPS PLAYERS MAXIMIZE THE POWER AND PRECISION OF THEIR SWINGS
Combined with the unique design of the adidas Tour360 XT golf shoe, our insoles help provide the cushion, comfort, and support a player needs to keep their game going strong from the first hole to the last.
