3D Foot Scans

A Data-Driven Insole Design

To build a form-fitting insole that fits the majority of customers right out of the box, we needed data, and lots of it.

We partnered with podiatrists to create the patented Contoura® insole shape based on a database of 120,000 3D foot scans. This data helped us build smart features into the core insole design, like dynamic arch support and deep heel cupping, often found in custom orthotics.

We fine-tune Contoura® insoles for each footwear application through ProvenComfort® testing, adding data-driven comfort and support to your shoe's cushioning system—without customers having to buy a replacement insole.

Dynamic Arch Support

Disperses plantar pressure more evenly across the underfoot than a flat insole, delivering foam benefits through a full range of foot motion.

Deep Heel Cup

Increases surface contact and sensory feedback in the heel compared to a flat insole, providing a more stable, locked-in feeling with each step.

EcoComfort Open Cell PU

Breathable, lightweight cushioning for instant in-shoe comfort. Available as a dual-density top layer for Contoura® insoles.

EVA foam in blue, magenta, orange

Pulsion High Rebound

High energy return formulas for athletic performance. Usable as either a base layer or dual-density top layer for Contoura® insoles.
